The good stuff

Built for people who check their balance and hope.

No budgets with 47 categories. No guilt-trip graphs. What follows are real screens from the app — and the thinking behind them.

Safe to spend

One number to rule your week.

Bills, subs and goal money come off the top before you ever see it. What's left is yours to blow — by day, week or month. Guilt not included.

Bablo safe-to-spend card: $2,758 of $3,265 budget left this month, $124 more room than last month
Tap for the math

Every number shows its receipts.

Tap the big number and the math unfolds — income in, bills locked in, goals set aside, spending out. No black box, no "trust us." If Bablo says $2,758, you can see exactly why.

How we got this: income this month $6,800, then $2,985 locked in for rent and bills — the safe-to-spend math, step by step
Forecast

Know where July lands. In week two.

Bablo learns your usual pattern and projects month-end while there's still time to bend it. A bad month caught early is just a heads-up.

Behind the forecast: money left today $2,758, minus $562 of everyday spending still ahead — July lands at about $2,196 left
Coach

It doesn't just count. It coaches.

Numbers are the easy part. Coach reads your month, explains the drift in plain receipts, then turns the fix into a plan it tracks with you — day by day. Called out, kindly.

Coach verdict: about $360 over by Jul 31 if you keep spending as usual — with the receipts: everyday pace, repeat bills still ahead, one-off surprises
The "why," in receipts — your pace, the bills still coming, the usual surprises.
Coach's To land at $0 card: honest about what everyday cuts can and can't fix, with a Make a plan button
Then it gets practical: pick a pace, trim a habit, pause a goal — and it tracks the plan with you.

Pulse

Your month, minus the mystery.

Total honesty about where it all went — including the small stuff that never feels like the problem but always is.

Damage report

Where it went, by how negotiable it was.

Rent you owed, needs you met, calls you made. In, out, net — one glance. No pie charts from 2009.

Pulse damage report: $2,880 spent this month, split into locked $2,373, need $245 and flexible $263 — in $6,800, out $2,880, net +$3,920
The small stuff

Death by a thousand cuts, spotted.

Fourteen little buys, each under $100, quietly stacking up to $263. One at a time they're invisible — Bablo shows the volume so you can decide on purpose.

The thousand cuts: $263 across 14 flexible buys, most under $25 — the damage is the volume, not any one thing

FAQ

Fair questions.

What does it cost? +
$9.99/month, or $79/year — that's $6.58 a month. Try it free for 21 days, no card up front. You pay us, so we work for you — no ads, no selling your data, no upsell maze. Cancel anytime — no hoops, no guilt trip. (Free for everyone while we're in beta.)
Is my bank data safe? +
Yes. Read-only connections through Plaid — the same encrypted rails thousands of finance apps use. We can never move, hold or touch your money — we just do math on it.
Do you sell my data? +
No. That's the whole point. You pay $9.99 a month, not with your transaction history. No ads, no data brokers, no weird vibes.
Can I delete my data? +
Yes — completely, right in the app. Deleting your account unlinks your bank connections and erases your data from our servers. No email-us-and-wait, no 30-day "processing." Your actual accounts live safely at your bank either way — we only ever held the math. Details in the privacy policy.
Which banks work? +
12,000+ US banks and credit unions through Plaid — the big ones and most of the small ones. US accounts only for now; international is on the list, right after Android.
What does "bablo" even mean? +
Slang for cash. Money, cheddar, paper. It felt right for an app whose whole job is telling you how much of it you've got.
Android? +
Soon. iOS first, Android is in the oven. Email hello@babloapp.com and we'll ping you the second it ships.
