Answers to the most common questions — and a real human to email when you're stuck.
Bablo connects to your bank read-only. Tap Link account, find your bank, and sign in on the bank-linking screen — your bank username and password never touch Bablo's servers, and all we get back is a read-only token. (Who handles the login.)
Right after linking, Bablo pulls your recent transaction history. Depending on the bank, the full history (up to about 90 days) can take a minute or two to land.
New transactions flow in automatically — usually within minutes to a few hours of a charge, depending on how quickly your bank reports it.
Banks occasionally expire a connection — after a password change, or just on a timer. When that happens the bank's card shows a needs repair notice.
Repairing never duplicates your data — it refreshes the existing connection rather than creating a new one.
Opened a new card or account at a bank that's already connected? Don't link the bank again — tap Add accounts on that bank's card in Linked accounts, and pick the new accounts on the bank-linking screen. Bablo pulls their history automatically.
The big number on Home is what's actually safe to spend this month: your income, minus bills we've detected, minus what you've set aside for goals and planned expenses, minus what you've already spent. Tap it for the full "How we got this" breakdown.
A number looks wrong? Tap into it — almost every figure in Bablo explains itself. If it still looks off, email us; we genuinely want to know.
The full picture — encryption, retention, what we never do — lives in the Privacy Policy.
Unlinking a bank (Linked accounts → bank card → Unlink) cuts that connection at the source and removes it from Bablo — along with that bank's accounts and the transactions we pulled from it. Your other linked banks and their history are untouched.
To delete your entire account — connections, transactions, goals, profile — open the Me tab and tap Delete account. It's immediate and permanent: your data is erased and Bablo disconnects from your bank. Prefer we handle it? Email hello@babloapp.com from the address on your account and we'll process it for you.
Stuck, confused, or just have an idea? Email hello@babloapp.com. Bablo is built by a small team that reads every message — bug reports with a screenshot are gold.
