Monarch is a reporting hub: dashboards, budgets, charts about last month. Useful, if reading reports is the relationship you want with your money. Bablo is built for the other 29 days — the ones where you're standing in a store wondering if this is fine.
What Bablo does that Monarch doesn't
Bablo is forward-facing. The home screen is one number that's safe to spend right now, and a forecast of where the month lands — computed continuously, not summoned by asking an assistant. When the forecast says you're heading over, Bablo turns the fix into a daily-pace plan and tracks it with you day by day, honestly re-planning when reality changes. That loop — number, forecast, commitment, follow-through — doesn't exist in Monarch at any tier, including the $199 one.
